The Iowa Women’s Foundation (IWF), a small non-profit organization based out of Coralville, Iowa, is committed to improving the lives of women and girls within the state by overcoming barriers and meeting their needs for success. The IWF is currently seeking a President/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization and continue building upon its accomplishments by advising and working collaboratively with the Board of Directors. The President/CEO will provide overall strategic and operational leadership for the IWF team, programs, and ongoing execution of the organization’s mission throughout Iowa. The President/CEO will also oversee all programs, initiatives, operations, and plans, ensuring strategies are effectively implemented and goals are achieved while communicating, supporting, and reinforcing the IWF philosophy and standards. This position manages a team of four and reports to the IWF Board of Directors.

Qualified candidates should have:

• Bachelor's degree in public or business administration, marketing, communications, or other related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of six years of related experience is required.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Experience developing and managing strategies, goals, programs, and budgets.
• Experience working with and knowledge/understanding of women’s and girls’ issues preferred.
• Experience working with Boards of Directors preferred.
• Non-profit & grant experience a plus.
• Must have outstanding skills related to leadership, communications, strategic planning, network building, problem-solving & decision making, and strategic thinking.
• Must show a strong propensity for goal & results orientation, being influential, and demonstrating ongoing commitment and drive for the organization's vision, mission, and values.
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Approximately 15% travel.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
