The School of Nursing (UMSN), Department of Systems, Populations and Leadership is recruiting a LEO Lecturer I to teach Fall term, 2022 (August 29, 2022 through December 31, 2022), HS 610 (DE) – Sociotechnical Components of HIT Systems lecture. The effort is 0.25 FTE (3 credits). This an online digital education (DE) course part of the School Leadership Analytics and Innovation program, and the logistics, days/times/channel for this course are to be determined.
HS 610 (DE) -- Title: Sociotechnical Components of HIT Systems
This course explores components of socio-technical frameworks that underlie for the development, deployment, and maintenance of health information technologies. Strategies and techniques used to analyze and model health information systems requirements are emphasized. New and emerging technologies are assessed for their impact and potential strategic value to an organization.

*A PhD/DNP degree is required.
*Preference will be given to applicants who have both didactic teaching experience and content expertise.
*A nursing license in the State of Michigan is required for this position (current licensure or willingness to obtain licensure).
