Post-Doctoral Research Associate - Materials Science & Engineering The University of Tennessee is pleased to announce an opening for a Post-Doctoral Research Associate to help advance understanding of topological quantum materials. The applicant must be well versed in both single-crystal synthesis and electrical transport and thermodynamic measurements at high magnetic fields and low temperatures. Strong hands-on skills and knowledge to build and operate experimental apparatus, especially crystal growth apparatus and electrical transport measurement systems, are highly desirable.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: The applicant must have a Ph.D. in Materials Science, Physics, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have experience in quantum materials research and a demonstrated track record in publishing. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. The candidate will be advised by David Mandrus at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
