Class Description
Teach day and/or evening courses in Anthropology and/or Sociology, such as Introduction to Cultural Anthropology, Introduction to Sociology, Racial and Cultural Minorities and Social Problems. Adjunct Faculty are selected based on the needs of the program, applicant proficiency, course availability, and student enrollment.
Location: Catonsville or Owings Mills or Essex or Dundalk Campus
Adjunct Level 1 - $880 per credit hour.
Minimum Requirements
A minimum of a Master’s degree in Anthropology or Sociology or a related field. Prior teaching experience preferred.
Class Specific Essential Duties
Adjunct faculty are expected to prepare and deliver course instruction, follow common course outlines and policies, utilize the CCBC learning management system, grade, critique and evaluate student work, provide timely feedback to students, keep and submit accurate classroom records, communicate with the discipline coordinator, and attend required training sessions, professional development and departmental meetings.
