The position of Behavioral Health, Clinical Psychology Post Doc for the Behavior Health and Community Unit (BeHCU) is responsible for clinical oversight and execution of clinical assessment protocol. This position is critical in meeting the mission of the awarded federal grant to expand services to persons with serious mental illness, and co-occurring disorders within underserved populations and rural areas.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the mobile unit behavioral health clinical assessment, treatment, and referral services. Develop and oversee protocols in accordance with state, local, and federal standards, provide clinical care, ensure patient data is accurate and secure with the use of computerized electronic health records software programs; appropriate use of DSM-V and HIPAA compliance, clinical problem-solving techniques, utilization of evidence-based counseling techniques, clinical supervision and management, consultation with BeHCU team, monitoring program outcomes, data collection, analysis, and research.
