Position Summary:

The Department of Accounting and Information Systems in the Villanova School of Business is seeking applications for a Continuing Non-Tenure Track position beginning Fall 2021. This person will report to the Chair of the Accounting and Information Systems Department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

This person may teach courses that include financial accounting, managerial accounting, and accounting systems courses. In addition, the person is expected to incorporate data, analytics, and technology into accounting classes. Teaching will be at both the undergraduate and graduate level.

Perform service that includes outreach to student groups, accounting firms, etc. and other internal service.

Minimum Qualifications:

CPA and 8+ years of professional experience with the capability and/or strong willingness to incorporate accounting, data, analytics, and technology into the curriculum. A terminal degree in relevant field is not required. However, a terminal degree in lieu of significant professional experience is also acceptable and candidates with a Ph.D. or DBA are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated capability of high-quality teaching and working with students. An ability to integrate accounting with data, analytics, and technology. Previous relevant industry experience and familiarity with higher education preferred.
