The University of Northern Iowa's Department of Marketing & Entrepreneurship seeks applications for a renewable-term Instructor position, begining August 2021 at the Cedar Falls campus. This is not a remote learning position. This position involves teaching courses in the Sales Management emphasis including Personal Selling, Sales Management, and Sales Internships with additional service responsibilities including participation in department, college, and university professional activities. The position involves the additional responsibility to serve as the Director of the UNI Center for Professional Sales with responsibilities for strategic planning, programming, budget administration, and business development. MBA or Master's degree in Marketing from a nationally recognized university required.
Required qualifications include demonstrated ability to teach courses in personal sales and sales management; demonstrated organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; experience in sales and sales management; and a record of excellence in teaching or corporate training.
Preference will be given to candidates with entrepreneurial experience; marketing management experience; certification(s) in recognized sales techniques; or business management experience.
