Summary of Job Duties:
The Postdoctoral Research Associate will assist with research, from instrument design to journal publication and writing grant proposals. These activities include developing research questions, collecting and analyzing data, and communicating findings from research. The Postdoctoral Research Associate will also be expected to lead by managing projects and engaging with graduate student researchers.

Qualifications:
Candidates for this position should have a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics, or a closely related field, and experience writing peer-reviewed research papers. Candidates should have demonstrated knowledge of consumer behavior, the economics of risk, and applied econometrics. Knowledge about topics in behavioral economics (e.g. prospect theory, loss aversion, reference effects) is preferred. Proficiency in R programming language, experience with retail scanner data, and/or experience designing and conducting online surveys are desirable.
